FREE MUSIC!!

Want to hear about my latest project? Back in January, my dear friend, Chris, who is the Primary chorister in my ward, came to me with a brilliant idea. She thought it would be nice to have the monthly scriptures that the primary learns to be set to music. So for the past six months, I have been writing little one liners for the primary scriptures. I can't keep them to myself, so I wanted to let you all know, they are available for FREE upon request. Because I am still working on figuring out how to put sheet music into an html for simple download, for now, Please send an email, or comment with your email address, if you would like to "subscribe" to receive a monthly scripture song, and I will email you back with pdf files for the sheet music.

Debut Concert!!

I'm so excited to announce that I finally scheduled a little concert to celebrate my upcoming CD release!
If you are in the Northern Utah area, and would like to hear my music live, come to this concert!

I will be performing selections from my debut album "Solitude," along with my brother, Spencer, bassist extraordinaire. This will be his final performance before he leaves to England on an LDS mission.

Finally! I could not for the life of me figure out how to put my songs on Project Playlist.
So, Sit back, relax, stay a while, and listen to the music.

Pre-orders, Paypal, and Release Party Concert

Just so you know, I have a link on the website where you can pre-order your copy of "Solitude," before it's released to the public. I'm offering free shipping to anyone who orders before the release. As long as you're patient in waiting to receive your order, while I finish up with production (I appreciate that, by the way, to those of you who have already placed an order).

I have had recent feedback that the paypal button isn't working. If you have any problems with paypal, leave me a note on the website (under contact me), or send me an email at pianorunner@yahoo.com.

I can email you a Paypal link to pay by credit card (but it's better if you use your paypal account because it doesn't cost me as much), or you can mail a check/money order to me. If you would be interested in mailing a check/money order, send me an email, and I will send you an order form. You can then send it to me by mail.

I have also decided to do a Release Party Concert. This will most likely take place this Spring/Summer in the Northern Utah/Davis County area. If there is any interest in a performance at another venue further South, I am open to it, upon request.

Sheet Music

I have had a lot of people ask me about sheet music. I've been working this week on transcribing all of my song into a Print music program for download. It's long and tedious work. And I've got 3 of 12 songs done. Maybe I will send my hubby and kids away on a trip for Spring Break, and I'll stay home and get it all done.

I'm hoping to have everything done, and put into a songbook to accompany the release of the CD. I will also have links on the website, where you can download sheet music for single songs. I'm still trying to work out the bugs on that.

I'll let you know when that all get up and running.

I will most likely be doing a Release Party giveaway when the CD and Songbook are finished. So, tell your friends to come over here and follow me!

Just wanted to update you on what I'm doing this week.

Latest Update

I'm still working on the cover. Hopefully it will be designed soon. The printing is actually all lined up, they are just waiting for me to send them a prototype.

I'm also still waiting for copyrights to come back. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there aren't any hitches in that department.

As many of you may know, I provided a song for my friend, author Annette Lyon to put on her trailer for her new book, Tower of Strength. Here's the video.




Since then, I was recently approached by another author. You may have heard of her, H.B. Moore. She asked me to also provide songs for trailers for two of her books.

I'm really excited to be getting my music "out there!"

Right now I'm working on getting everything transcribed, and within the next couple of weeks I will hopefully have a link on my website to download sheet music.

I'll keep you posted as the process progresses.

Cover Design

I found a printing company today that will do all of my CD duplication, cover, insert, jewel case, and shrink wrap.

Hooray!

I just need to finalize my cover design, and my CD imprint design.

Does anyone know anybody who does graphic design, and knows what the heck they're doing? But, can help me for cheap?
